Coach

Erin is from Troy, Illinois. She has always had a passion for sports and health. She began her athletic journey at Triad High School, where she excelled in multiple sports. Pursuing her interest in nursing, Erin attended both Robert Morris University in Chicago and Lewis and Clark College.

Soccer was Erin's main sport, and she played it throughout her college years. She even showcased her versatility by playing a year of college basketball. Growing up, Erin was a multi-sport athlete, participating in soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, and track. Her commitment to sports laid a solid foundation for her future coaching career.

Erin is a proud mother of four beautiful daughters: Charlotte, Jolene, Elizabeth, and Bonnie. Together with her husband, she is also a foster parent, providing a loving home to one of their daughters. The Lewis family is completed by their American bulldog, Ronda; six goats; a flock of chickens; and a cat charmingly named Clubhouse.

With six years of CrossFit experience under her belt, Erin joined our youth programs coaching staff in the summer of 2025. Her journey in fitness began with a focus on Olympic weightlifting, but after the birth of her first daughter, she sought a more functional and fun approach to fitness while still incorporating her favorite lifts.

Erin is passionate about coaching youth athletes, driven by the joy of seeing kids enjoy being active. She loves watching them grow strong and take pride in their accomplishments, embodying the philosophy, “If at first you don’t succeed, try again!” Erin's own experiences with influential coaches in her youth inspire her to be a positive role model and guide for the next generation, encouraging them to be their best selves.

Outside of coaching, Erin is deeply involved in her church community and loves going on adventures with her family. She enjoys baking sourdough, practicing emergency medicine, and savoring a good cup of coffee. Erin is not just a coach; she’s a mentor, motivator, and an integral part of our community.
